Uniting Mind, Body, and Soul

About Wild Us

Yoga for Everyone

Yoga unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that eases tension, reducing inflammation, and promoting health and well being.

Wild Us is an Earth-based approach to Yoga and Yogic practice, where direct practice that connects us to the wider world outside the yoga room is encouraged. As well as offering Yoga classes indoors, Yoga is taught outdoors, incorporating ecotherapy, wild-wellness and peace in our wider understanding of our place in the world. Harriet Sams trained through the British School of Yoga, is experienced in energy healing, sound therapy, meditation facilitation, celebrancy and ancestor connections in our landscape. She is delighted to share her knowledge with you through Yoga.

To read her blog and for more information about funeral, wedding and naming celebrancy, please go to www.nwyfre.com

NEWS FLASH! Harriet is honoured to share with you her new role on the Board of Directors for this charity: Radical Joy for Hard Times, who work to reconnect people with their land, giving people a sense of love, even in the face of environmental damage. Please check out her profile and the charity's mission here: https://radicaljoy.org/about/

As well as asanas, the sessions with encourage peaceful thoughts, healing awareness of the planet, sensory wellbeing through sound work and meditation.

Private energy healing is available at £35 for an hour, or £90 for three sessions in the beautiful, rural surroundings of my home in County Durham. Yoga therapy sessions are also available. Please contact Harriet for more information.

Bring an awareness of Gaia and the more-than-human world to the mat

image11

Wild Us Yoga will help you to bring the natural world to the mat. Through engaging our senses and our inner vision, we can really bring connection back to ourselves, in an often disconnected world.

There has never been a more critical time in our lives to find our connection to the world and to come together to address impending climate chaos. Yoga gives us the spiritual tools the world desperately needs so that we can simplify our lives, fall back in love with the more-than-human realms and to reconnect to that which can offer healing and light.

Radical Joy For Hard Times Global Earth Exchange- FREE event

Daring to bear witness- Let's face it, even here in the relative peace of Teesdale we are all coming to notice how things are changing. Fewer birds and bugs, hotter weather and less rainfall.

Can we dare to bear witness to this?

You are not alone in noticing these changes and you're definitely not alone in having difficult feelings about it all.

Come along and join together to share our experiences of what is happening to our local environment.

This is a FREE event! Children who are comfortable with meditation and reflection are welcome.
